In this two-part workshop, you’ll carve a spiral wand and create a simple decorative knob of your own design. The spiral form — found throughout nature — becomes both structure and guide as you learn to work slowly, rhythmically, and with intention.
Over two sessions, the emphasis is on presence and process. The spiral offers a steady path for developing knife control while allowing space for personal design choices. Some participants may complete their wand during the workshop; others may continue refining it at home, depending on pace, strength, and vision.
Instruction centers on safe tool use and foundational carving techniques, with individual guidance throughout. Finishing techniques are not formally taught, though questions are welcome. All tools and materials are provided, and the small group setting allows for focused, immersive work.
This workshop is intentionally open-ended. You’ll leave with a well-shaped wand and the skills to continue shaping it — through further carving, paint, surface treatments, or symbolic details that carry personal meaning beyond the sessions.
*This workshop is held in my home studio. The full address and arrival details will be sent by email a few days before the first session, along with a reminder and any additional information you may need.
Due to the small size of this workshop, cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable.
Spots may be transferred to another participant if needed.
